The virtuosity of master craftsmen coupled with state-of-the-art sewing plants guarantee a high-end end product in serial quality. Our comprehensive product line spans from functional seams to decorative seams as well as exclusive special seams (air bag seams) and embroideries.

Together with industrial professionalism, master craftsmanship is realised daily for our customers. We provide the most accurate seam lines possible for the various seam patterns, as well as the documentation of airbag seams of car seats.

Similar to ornamental seams, embroideries are used for the optical embellishment of blanks. They are executed with very closely spaced zigzag double-lockstitches. The stitch length is programmed on the sewing machine to be so short that the sewing stitches are almost parallel to each other and the zigzag effect is hardly visible. By changing the stitch width, the contour of the embroidery design is created.

The sewing process for seat covers

The first stage of the sewing process is referred to as sewing or fixing onto the substructure. This means joining the leather parts with the substructure materials.

Subsequently, the preparatory sewing work is carried out, such as the sewing of the SAB pocket or the profiles.

The creation of the SAB seam (airbag) is the most demanding step of the entire sewing process. This seam must be created and documented in accordance with strict specifications.

All pre-cut parts are joined to form a seat cover by means of joining seams.

The felled or decorative seams are intended to embellish the cover. These seams are made using different sewing machines, e.g. flatbed machine, post bed machine, free arm machine, CNC sewing unit etc.

The last step in the manufacture of the seat covers is sewing on the profiles. The latter are required to fix the cover to the seat.
