International Children's Day on June 1 is a day celebrated in over 145 countries around the world to raise awareness of children's rights. These rights include, among others, the right to education. Therefore, Boxmark has been supporting an initiative of the Austrian-Bosnian cultural association MEDO for several years. The aim of the association is to equip school libraries in northeastern Bosnia with new books, as most of them were completely destroyed during the Balkan war (1992 - 1995).
