Today, BOXMARK World Leather, a subsidiary of H. Schmidt Holding GmbH, manufactures and processes around 12,400,000 m² upholstery leathers worldwide, year in, year out. BOXMARK consistently focuses its services and products on its customers, fine tuned with all the qualitative, economic and ecologic requirements needed in a modern business. The history of BOXMARK World Leather is inseparably linked to the production and processing of leather as a natural product. Traditional leather production for over 200 years’ ranges from vegetable-tanned sole leather, shoe leather and chamois to the modern-day industrial production of high-class upholstery leather for the furniture and automotive industries. BOXMARK could not have operated so successfully without the men and women who have done such an excellent job through all the years.
