BOXMARK presented itself at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo – the worldwide largest specialist trade fair for aircraft interior design – with a new layout. The elegant booth was a suitable stage for the exhibited products. Also this year BOXMARK had the opportunity to offer the about 18,000 professional visitors in Hamburg a trade fair premiere with a newly designed three-seat bench. A few orders from airlines as well as numerous other inquiries are very successful trade fair results.
From April 10 to 12 more than 500 national and international exhibitors presented the newest trends of the industry, which passengers maybe can already experience while travelling in near future. This year the dominant topics have been networking and in-flight entertainment as well as the increasing digitalization of processes and workflows in the cabin. A trend away from clean airplane atmosphere to more comfort above the clouds was also notable. Particularly high-quality materials such as leather and wood are used for this purpose.
