BOXMARK exhibits new seats at the Railway Interiors trade fair

At this year’s Railway Interiors Expo in Prague (November 14 and 15, 2017) BOXMARK presented three new seat designs. The covers, made of the leather collections ROYAL, DUKE and BARON, as well as the also shown 3D wall panels lured top-class visitors to the booth. So numerous new projects were discussed.

A reputable seat manufacturer expressed his strong interest in the opportunities of use of a new seating foam development for which BOXMARK was together with the project partner Vanema awarded with the Crystal Cabin Award 2017. Although the award is among the most desired prizes in aviation, the benefits of this innovation – low weight with at the same time higher resilience – are obviously also of prime importance for railway vehicles. The interest was not only very interesting, but also surprising, as the technology was not presented at the booth.

The international trade fair, which first took place in the year 2004 and since then contributes to the progress in design, technology and safety, is the best opportunity for rail operators, design consultants and manufacturers of track vehicles to check out the latest developments and innovations in technology, material and service for interior fittings.
